How to Verify Your VALORANT Account?
A VALORANT account can fail verification in two different places: the Riot account email check, or the in-game Verify Account button that points to Riot Mobile MFA.

Email verification only proves that you control the mailbox on the Riot account. Riot Mobile MFA is separate, and VALORANT can still block a queue with Verify Account even after the email is already verified.
Check the exact prompt first. If the Riot account page wants email verification, fix the mailbox route. If VALORANT itself shows Verify Account, make sure Riot Mobile MFA is enabled on the same Riot account.
1. Check Which Verification Riot Wants
The first screen decides the fix. A Riot account page or support page saying your email is not verified is a mailbox problem. A Verify Account button inside VALORANT usually means the account needs Riot Mobile verification.
- Sign in at account.riotgames.com and check whether the account page says the email address still needs verification.

Riot account email verification and the in-game Verify Account prompt are related but they are not always the same requirement. - Open VALORANT and check whether the queue area shows Verify Account instead of the normal play or queue button.

If VALORANT itself shows Verify Account in the queue area, Riot is asking for more than just a passive email check on that account. - If only the account page asks for verification, complete the email steps below. If VALORANT still shows Verify Account after the email is verified, go to the Riot Mobile MFA section.
2. Verify the Riot Email and Fix Missing Verification Messages
Use the Riot account page for the email check instead of relying only on a launcher pop-up. The browser page sends the request from the signed-in Riot account, which avoids stale client prompts and wrong-session problems.
- Open https://account.riotgames.com/ and sign in to the Riot account you use for VALORANT.
- If the Riot Client shows an Email Verification Required pop-up, confirm that the visible email address is yours before sending anything.

The account is not fully verified until you complete the link or code step inside the actual Riot message. - Send the verification message from the account page or the trusted client prompt.
- Search your mailbox for Riot and check Inbox, Spam, Junk, Promotions, and any custom folders.

Riot verification mail is easy to miss if you only check the main inbox and never search the filtered folders. - If nothing arrives, return to account.riotgames.com and send one fresh verification message.
- Use only the newest Riot email if several messages arrive late.
- Refresh the Riot account page and confirm the email now shows as verified.
3. Fix the Riot Account or Email Mismatch Before Sending More Mail
A verification email cannot help if it is being sent from the wrong Riot account or to an old mailbox. This is common when players mix Riot username login with Google, Apple, or another connected sign-in method.
- If you normally sign in through Google, Apple, or another social option, use that same method on the Riot account page.

A verification email cannot help if you are requesting it on the wrong Riot account in the first place. - Check the Riot ID, region, and email address on the account page before requesting another verification email.
- If the email is wrong but you can still manage the account, change it to an address you control, then verify that new address.

If Riot is sending the message to the wrong address the useful fix is to correct the account email not to keep resending to the bad mailbox. - If the email is inaccessible and you cannot change it normally, stop resending and use Riot account recovery instead.
4. Complete Riot Mobile MFA for the VALORANT Verify Account Button
Use this when the Riot email is verified but VALORANT still blocks the queue with Verify Account. A normal authenticator app may protect the Riot login, but this VALORANT prompt can require Riot Mobile specifically.
- Install Riot Mobile on your phone and sign in to the same Riot account you use in VALORANT.

A mismatch between the game account and the mobile account can leave the Verify Account button stuck even though MFA looks enabled somewhere else. - Open your Riot account page in a browser and find the Multi-Factor Authentication section.
- Use the Enable or Resend control Riot provides for MFA setup.

Riot’s MFA setup starts on the account page so you can tie the mobile verification to the correct Riot account. - Complete the confirmation in Riot Mobile and wait until the account page shows MFA as enabled.
- Sign out of Riot Client, sign back in, reopen VALORANT, and check the queue button again.
5. Relog Once, Then Use Riot Recovery or Support if Verification Still Loops
If the same account has a verified email, correct account details, and Riot Mobile MFA enabled, the remaining loop is no longer a normal setup step. Riot may need to review the account, change an inaccessible email, or clear a stuck verification state.
- Sign out of Riot Client and Riot Mobile, then sign back into both with the same Riot account one more time.
- If the loop continues, use Riot’s account recovery tool or submit a support ticket instead of repeating the same resend flow.

Once the same account keeps failing after email and mobile verification the next useful step is recovery not another blind resend. - Have your Riot ID, region, old email addresses, linked sign-in methods, and purchase receipts or transaction IDs ready if Riot asks for ownership proof.
After verification works, keep the Riot email current and leave MFA enabled so the mailbox, Riot account, and Riot Mobile setup all point to the same VALORANT account.
