How to Activate Travel Channel on Smart TVs, Xbox and Others

Activating the Travel Channel on Smart TVs, Xbox, and other devices is easy. First, install the Travel Channel Go app on your device. Open the app to get an activation code that appears on your screen. Then, go to the activation website and enter the code. You’ll also need to choose your TV provider and sign in with your account details. Once you’ve done this, you’ll have full access to the Travel Channel’s content.

Here are all the supported devices that need to be activated before you can watch content from the Travel Channel:

Activate the Travel Channel app on Roku

1. Go to your Roku home screen by pressing the Home button on your remote.

   

2. From the menu on the left, navigate to Search. Enter Travel Channel Go in the search box.

   

3. Select the Travel Channel app from the results, then choose Add Channel.

   

4. Once the installation is finished, choose Go to Channel.
5. Inside the app, use your remote to select Activate.
6. Select your TV service provider from the list.
   Note: You need to have an active subscription with a TV provider, otherwise the channel will not work.
7. Make note of the activation code displayed on your TV screen.

Activate Travel Channel on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X

1. Open the Microsoft Store and search for Travel Channel.

   

2. Once you find it, download and install the app on your Xbox console.
3. Open the Travel Channel app and sign in if prompted.
4. Follow the instructions shown, and an activation code will appear on your screen.
5. Write down this code. Then, on another device, go to https://auth.watch.travelchannel.com/link.
6. Enter the activation code on the site.

   

Activate Travel Channel on a Smart TV

1. Go to your Smart TV’s app store. This can usually be done by selecting Apps or Store on your TV.
   Note: The app store might look different depending on the brand, but the steps are similar.
2. In the app store, search for Travel Channel.

   

3. Once you find Travel Channel Go, follow the on-screen instructions to install it, according to your TV’s operating system.

Activate Travel Channel on Samsung Smart TV

1. Make sure your TV input is set to the TV (not AV), then press the Home button on your remote.

Activate Travel Channel on Apple TV

1. Using your remote, go to the Home screen and open the Apple App Store.

3. When you see the app in the results, select it and click Get to install.
4. Once installed, the Travel Channel app will appear on your home screen.
5. Open the Travel Channel app and navigate to Settings at the top right.
