Fix: Midnight Fight Express Not Launching, Crashing, Freezing & Black Screen On PC

• Lack of administrator privileges- Another common possibility of midnight fight express crashing or not launching is a lack of administrator privileges. This can easily be tackled by running the game as an administrator.

4. Install Visual C++ Redistributables

Visual C++ Redistributables installs Microsoft C++ and Microsoft C runtime libraries which are essential for applications and games developed under a Microsoft visual environment. The unavailability of these files could cause the game not to launch or function properly. Follow these straightforward steps to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables:

1. Click here to Download the Visual C++ Redistributables. 
2. Once you are on the download page, Download Both the X86 and X64 versions.

   

3. Open the files that you just downloaded.
4. Continue with the straightforward installation procedure.

   

5. Once Finished installation, Reboot your computer.

5. Run the game as an Administrator 

It is possible that your game is freezing or crashing due to insufficient permissions to run it smoothly; in such a case, it is advised to run the program or game as an admin. 

5.1 Steam

If you’re a steam user, follow these steps to run your game as an administrator:

1. Open Steam, In the left panel, locate Midnight fight Express. The cult of the lamb here is used as an example to demonstrate the steps.

6.1 Uninstalling Display Drivers

Follow these steps to uninstall the currently installed display drivers on our computer completely. We’ll use a DDU (Display driver uninstaller) as it performs a clean uninstallation of drivers without leaving any residual files and corrupt registry entries.

1. Click here to download a Display Driver Uninstaller.
2. Once on the download page, Scroll down till you see the Download links.
3. Click on the link with the nearest server to your geographical location.

   

4. Once downloaded, Extract the contents of the “.Zip” file.
5. Open the folder with extracted content and double-click to open the DDU application file.
6. Click on Extract and open the folder this extraction process creates.
7. Open the application file named Display driver uninstaller.
8. Once you have downloaded and installed the DDU, open it.
9. Close the popup box it presents upon opening the application.
10. Now, Select your GPU vendor in the dropdown menu on the left side of the application UI.

    

11. After that, Click on the Clean and Restart button.

6.2 Installing Display drivers

After you have successfully uninstalled the display drivers from your computer, follow these steps to install the latest display drivers for your graphics card:

1. Click on the below-mentioned links with your graphic card’s manufactures name

   Click Here if you’re an Nvidia user
2. Now, Select your graphics card model manually and Download the drivers.
3. Once Downloaded, Proceed with the straightforward installation of display drivers.

After the installation procedure is done, Reboot your computer. After rebooting your computer, try launching the game.

7. Add the game to the antivirus

Sometimes, Windows defender or any other antivirus blacklists applications or games, which makes them useless as they can not send bandwidth over your network. Follow these steps to whitelist Midnight fight express in Windows defender. If you use a third-party antivirus, temporarily disable it to identify if it is causing this issue:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the windows start menu.

8. Disable Overlay Apps

8.1 Steam

Follow these steps to disable steam overlay:

9. Lower down In-game settings

10. Uninstall and Reinstall the Gaming services

This method only applies to Xbox game pass users; Gaming services are an essential package for games launched via the Xbox gaming application. Follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox gaming services.

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the windows start menu, and in the windows start menu search bar, type Powershell and run it as an administrator.
   

   

2. In the PowerShell command terminal, paste the following command to uninstall the existing gaming services package.

   

   get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

3. Once done, Paste in the following command to install the gaming services. This command will redirect you to a Microsoft store page.

   start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

4. Click on Install to get the latest version of gaming services.

Once installed, Reboot your computer to finalize the changes.
