What is causing this problem?

In most cases, this issue appears when there are too many apps running at the same time. There are a few other reasons that can cause this issue, and all of them are related to your computer.

  • Background apps:The principal cause of this issue is the background apps running on your computer. These apps have processes that affect both your computer and its performance.
  • Startup apps: Some apps on your computer are set to launch at the same time as your PC. This causes your PC to have a lot more active processes that are all running at the same time.
  • 3rd party services: Through the processes of the apps you use, some are continually running in the background even though you don’t use them at all. These are third-party services from apps you’ve used previously and can manage without.

How do I fix this issue?

This problem is a common Windows issue that many users have gone through. There are a few ways to fix this, so here are the methods you need to follow:

1. Close background app processes

The first thing that you need to do when encountering this issue is to close all the background app processes that are running on your computer. There are many processes running when your PC is on, and a big part of them is for Windows to be able to work, but the rest of the processes are related to apps that you are using.

Most of these app processes are consuming a lot of memory and are affecting the performance of your computer. In this case, you should consider closing some of them to free up some memory.

You can do this from the Task Manager on your computer.
