NVIDIA Drivers Have Reportedly Added a Game Profile for Counter Strike 2

Is it finally happening, the sequel to one of the greatest FPS games of all time? According to a recent post on Reddit, NVIDIA Drivers have added a game profile for CS:GO2, sparking speculation that a new installment in the franchise may be in the works.

Many people would likely ignore this, but it’s concerning because this is how many games have been leaked in the past, when they showed up on NVIDA’s drivers before they were officially released. It’s not a huge hassle to dig through the records, either, because anything of interest will likely jump out at you. Just take a look at this tweet down below.

The tweet showcases two different profiles, namely csgos2.exe and cs2.exe. We don’t know hat exactly these refer to, however an important thing to note here is that these can be different profiles (the 2nd version) for the same game, so don’t take your hopes too high right now.

This Information Probably Won’t Lead to Source 2 Coming to CSGO

Many fans have been speculating that this could mean a potential sequel to the beloved first-person shooter game. However, it is important to note that this leak probably won’t lead to CSGO2, and here’s why.

Firstly, it is important to understand that there have been rumors and speculation about whether Source 2 will be coming to CS:GO. Some players are hoping for a major update to the game that would bring improved graphics, performance, and new features. However, Valve has not officially announced any plans to bring Source 2 to CS:GO.

One of the main reasons why it is unlikely that Source 2 will be coming to CS:GO in the near future is that the game is still very popular and successful. With a strong player base and a thriving esports scene, Valve may not feel the need to update the game engine.

Additionally, developing a new game engine is a time-consuming and expensive process. It is unlikely that Valve would invest the resources needed to create a new engine for a game that is still performing well.

Two months ago, there was a discussion that sparked the conversation regarding the sequel to CSGO, and this leak seems like a step in the same direction.

But what can we expect from CSGO2 (if it comes)? Will it live up to the hype and surpass its predecessor? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: the gaming world is eagerly awaiting any further news or hints about the potential release of this highly anticipated sequel.

We will make sure to keep you updated on any developments regarding this as new information becomes available.
