How to gain access key to Counter Strike 2 Beta- Latest Guide!

Counter-Strike 2 was recently announced by Valve in a beta phase with the game targeted to launch in the summer of this year. Since the game is in the early beta phase, a limited test release has been rolled out allowing some players to play the game and report any issues.

In the limited access phase, the majority of the players are left uninvited and only a select number of players have been given access to the sequel of Counter-Strike Global Offensive. In this article, we will go through the various details of the CS2 Limited Test, so you are aware of the ins and outs.

Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test Access

The first thing that needs to be addressed is how you would get access to the limited test phase of the game. Access to the Limited Test phase is entirely in the developer team’s hands. This means there is pretty much nothing you can do that can guarantee an invite to the Limited Test.

However, new players are invited to try out the beta every now and then. These invites are sent out on the basis of a number of factors. This includes your recent playtime on the official Valve servers, the trust factor of your CSGO account, the standing of your Steam account, and more.

Having read your playtime being one of the factors, you might be enticed to play more in the official Valve servers now, such as competitive matchmaking, deathmatch or any other game mode. Unfortunately, doing so will not increase your chances of being invited to the Limited Test as confirmed by the developers.

This is because the playtime that essentially matters is the one prior to the release of the Limited Test. This means any subsequent playtime will measure into your chances of getting an invite at all.

New Player Invites

Now that you are aware of the factors of getting an invite to the Limited Test, you should not lose hope since new players are invited every other day. This allows more players to join the beta and test out the game. As such, you will just have to wait for your turn to receive your invite to the game. When that might be, your guess is as good as ours.
