The option between DDR5 and DDR4 is consumer-dependent. DDR5 can be considered a future technology as of now since the performance gain over the DDR4 isn’t noticeable. The price of DDR5 memory makes it a bad choice even more. So, the consumers should stick with DDR4 right now and wait for the DDR5 platform to polish up in the future.
