Los Angeles to Host 2023 VALORANT Champions Tournament, Confirms Riot’s Weibo Account

Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, has officially announced that Los Angeles will be the host city for the 2023 VALORANT Champions tournament. The announcement was made through their Weibo account, confirming what many fans have been eagerly anticipating.

This is exciting news for the VALORANT community, in NA as they can finally experience live VALORANT LAN tournaments. For a long time, due to COVID, we had become used to seeing online tournaments, however the return of offline LAN competitions has sparked excitement, particularly with the ongoing LOCK IN, we saw how the public reacted.

Matches to Be Held at Shrine Auditorium and the KIA Forum

According to Riot’s announcement, the matches leading up to the top four will take place at the Shrine Auditorium from August 6 to 20. The Shrine Auditorium is a well-known and historic venue located in the heart of Los Angeles. With a seating capacity of 6,300, it is an ideal venue to showcase the talent of the world’s top VALORANT players.

After the top four teams are decided, the action will move to the KIA Forum from August 24 to 26. The KIA Forum is a state-of-the-art venue that has hosted numerous high-profile events, including the 2020 League of Legends World Championship Finals. The venue has a seating capacity of 7,100 and is equipped with the latest technology to ensure a seamless viewing experience.

The 2023 VALORANT Champions Tournament promises to be a great event, with top teams from around the world competing to become the ultimate champion of what is inarguably one of the most popular competitive FPS right now.
