How to Turn ON the Wallhack Command in CS:GO

Wallhack is hands down the most popular cheat code in CS: GO and it can be enabled with a single command. As evident from the name, this hack allows you to see players from behind the wall, wall-bang them easily, or convey the location to your teammates.

We do not encourage using this hack, but it’s good fun to surprise your friends when you’re playing casually. Apart from that, many players use this to find and practice potential wallbang positions on the map in bot games. This helps in executing the same while playing competitively.

Before we look at the original command for this hack, I’ll first list the steps to enable the developer console, where the command needs to be entered. Afterward, we’ll go through the commands, and I’ll mention whether this hack can lead to a ban or not.

How do I Enable Commands on CS: GO?

While there are many settings in CS: GO to tweak, the developer console gives you much more than that. You can change the entire dynamics of the game by entering simple commands.

The console isn’t activated by default, so follow the steps below to turn it on:

1. Launch CS: GO on your PC/console.
2. Select the Cog icon, and you’ll be in Settings.
3. Go to the Game tab.
4. Click on the drop-down arrow next to Enable Developer Console and select Yes.

5. Go back to the home screen of CS: GO.
6. Press the ~ key to open the developer console.

What is the Command for Wallhack in CS: GO?

First and foremost, you need to make sure that you’re the owner of the custom server and have not lost the server connection. Otherwise, the command won’t work. It can also work in single-player modes or on some community servers where the hack is allowed.

Now, to enable Wallhack, do the following:

1. Press the ~ key.
2. Enter sv_cheats 1 in the console and press Enter.
3. Now type r_drawothermodels 2 and press Enter.

4. The Wallhack will be on now.
5. To turn it off, type r_drawothermodels 1 in the developer console and hit Enter.

There is another wallhack command that is mat_wireframe 1, mat_wireframe 2, mat_wireframe 3, and mat_wireframe 4. However, it won’t just show the player behind the wall but everything else as well. It basically turns everything in the map into wireframe form.

Another command that is used for this purpose is enable_skeleton_draw 1. This shows the skeleton of the enemies from behind the wall.

Having said that, the most popular one remains r_drawothermodels 2, and it’s much better than the other two I mentioned.

Can I Get Banned for Using the Wallhack Command in CS: GO?

If you’re the server owner or the community server allows SV cheat codes, then you won’t be banned for using wallhack. The hack can’t be used by any means in the official competitive or matchmaking games.

But keep in mind that if you use third-party hacking software for wallhacks, you can get a temporary or, in most cases, permanent ban. So avoid using these software and applications at all costs.
