Lords of the Fallen is building up to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2023 and a real treat for fans of the Soulsborne series.
During the recent Gamescom Opening Night Live, the trailer for the upcoming Lords of the Fallen game was showcased to the public. Offering a whole lot of adrenaline-pumping action in a previously unseen region of the game. The “brutal melee, ranged, and magic combat” and “groundbreaking” dual-realm mechanic were all shown off in the gameplay preview.
You can watch the gameplay below:
After all, we are talking about a story trailer, so let’s talk about what’s going on in Lords of the Fallen. The sequel takes place a thousand years later and follows a new hero as he deals with a world overrun by evil bosses. Adyr, a boss with highly anti-human ideals, is introduced in the new teaser and he sounds very unpleasant. Look what people have done with all this free-will time they’ve had. Chaos, he growls, “war, greed, hatred, agony.“Now you’ve entered the shadows, brother.
It’s not made clear if Adyr is the primary opponent, but he’ll definitely be there at some point in Lords of the Fallen. It’s also probably safe to expect that you’ll die a lot in the game; when you do, you’ll be taken to the underworld, where your demise will be final.
The game will be launching on the 13th of October 2023. There is no gameplay video yet however we will let you know as soon as we get our hands on one. Do let us know what you think about the game in the comments down below
