GTA 6 May Feature ‘Cuba’ as a Location, According to Leaker

It is being reported that that Cuba might make an appearance in GTA 6. In his recent live stream, leaker Tyler McVicker, who, to be fair, has a mixed track record when it comes to Rockstar, has said that the storyline could be linked to a time jump or flashback.

We’ve heard rumors that the majority of GTA 6 takes place in Vice City, a made-up version of Miami famous for its busy nightlife, stunning beaches, and famous 1980s vibe. But, the fact that Cuba will also join in just adds an interesting new twist to the whole situation.

If what McVicker says is true, then adding flashbacks and time jumps to GTA 6 will surely add a lot of depth to the story. Even though Jason Schreier has previously said that GTA 6 will take place in the present day, the possibility of time travel to other periods will surely be an interesting new addition to the plot.

One interesting theory that is gaining popularity is that a certain island, which resembles to Cuba, might be playable in GTA 6. The idea is based on Guarma, a fictional Caribbean Island featured in Red Dead Redemption 2. There have been hints at Guarma in GTA Online, but the concept has never been fully executed.

This theory has been floating around for quite a while though. For reference, just take a look at this tweet from 2021.

The fact that GTA 6 has a time jump makes it more likely that there are different, separate places. This has the ability to let players travel across time or watch the game’s world develop over time. Such a choice would surely fit with Rockstar Games’ attention to detail and desire to make open-world settings that not just feel real but are also fun to explore.

This is simply one of the many reasons that their games sell really well. They let people control the game themselves, and by doing that, players feel more connected to the game in general, and hence, are likely to spend more time on it.

As for the leak, Rockstar has not commented on or confirmed any of the rumours as of now. It’s hard to say if they’ll make any sort of statement about it. Rockstar Games, like many other developers in the gaming industry, is notorious for eliminating a great deal of content during the development phase. For instance, many hours of gameplay were cut from Red Dead Redemption 2 before it was released.

Despite McVicker’s track record of accuracy, his ties to Valve and CD Projekt RED raise questions about his credibility when it comes to leaks involving Rockstar Games. He isn’t directly related to GTA 6, and so, it is important that you take this news with a grain of salt. Till then, we will make sure to keep you updated on all developments, as new information becomes available.
