  9. Click the Enable Safe Mode option from the appeared list and wait for your system to restart in safe mode.

  11. Finally, choose your device type and graphics card manufacturer and click the option Clean and Restart.

Once restarted, download & install the latest compatible graphics driver from the graphic card manufacturer’s website. Once done with reinstalling, restart your PC, launch the GoW 4 game, and check whether the issue is fixed.

5. Update the Game

With time, the game’s older or outdated version starts causing several issues, and the loading screen stuck on GoW 4 is one of them. 7. Disable All Antivirus Programs

7.2 Disable Third-Party Antiviruses:

  1. Open the antivirus app and go to the settings.
  2. Then, click on the Disable option to turn off the antivirus program.

7.3 Turn off Windows Defender Firewall:

  1. Open the Settings Menu by holding the Win key and then pressing the I key.

9. Reinstall Gears of War 4 (PC and Xbox)

Sometimes, the corrupt installation of the game can also trigger a loading screen stuck issue. So, if you have an interrupted or incomplete game installation, try fixing the issue by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game.  

9.1 On Windows

Follow the steps below to do so:

  1. Go to Settings by holding the Win key and pressing the I key.
  2. Then, go for the Apps and select Apps & Features.

  4. Tap the Uninstall option.

Once uninstalled, visit the GoW 4 installation folder and delete the leftover game files from the driver where the game is installed. Now, proceed to follow the steps for the reinstallation of the game:
