Fix: Mass Effect Andromeda DirectX Error
Mass Effect franchise is one of the most popular third person shooter RPGs of all times with its amazing storylines and choice-based endings. However, bugs have always been there for gamers to deal with and this error is one of the most notorious ones. There are even people who never managed to deal with it properly.
The error message appears after the game crashes. The problem is probably graphics-related and there have been people who claimed they managed to solve it by lowering their graphics settings. This is not a viable method for people with powerful PCs so follow the methods below to try to fix it in other ways.

1: Change the Size of Your Paging File
The paging file or virtual memory on your computer is a sort of a RAM extension. It uses a certain amount of space on your hard drive to use as RAM if it runs out. Still, the hard drive is several times slower than RAM but it can help out certain games and it can definitely cause Mass Effect to crash on you so try out this method.
- Right-click on the This PC entry which can usually be located on your Desktop or in File Explorer. Choose the Properties entry.
- Click on the “Advanced system settings” link at the right of the window and navigate to the Advanced tab. Under the Performance section, click Settings and navigate to the Advanced.
- Under the Virtual memory section, click Change. If the checkbox next to the “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives” setting is chosen, uncheck it and choose the partition or drive where you wish to store the virtual memory.

- Save the installation file on your computer and run the executable from there. Your computer may restart several times during the installation.

4: Disable Your Second Monitor
