Fix: Ubisoft Connect Error dolphin-032 (Stuck on Signing In)
The error “dolphin-032” happens in Ubisoft Connect when the client cannot complete the authentication handshake with Ubisoft services. The launcher may freeze on the login screen, get stuck on “Signing in”, or prevent games from launching. This is usually caused by blocked or unstable network traffic, bad cached login/session data, or time/date mismatch that breaks token or certificate validation.

Common causes:
- Corrupted or outdated cached credentials saved by the launcher
- DNS, IP, or routing issues blocking Ubisoft authentication endpoints
- Incorrect system date/time causing token validation failures
- Firewall, antivirus, VPN, or proxy filtering the connection
- Temporary Ubisoft service disruptions
Now that you know what causes this issue and why it occurs, let’s fix this issue.
1. Reset Ubisoft Password and Sign In Again
A password reset invalidates old sessions and refreshes account tokens. This helps when your current session is stuck, expired, or repeatedly rejected by the authentication service.
- Go to the Ubisoft Account page and sign in.
- Open the Security tab and change your password.

- Open Ubisoft Connect and sign in with the new password.
- Complete 2-step verification if prompted, then test again.
2. Run Ubisoft Connect as Administrator
This can fix sign-in failures caused by blocked permissions, especially if the launcher cannot write to its folders or start required components.
- Search for Ubisoft Connect in Windows search.
- Right-click it and select Run as administrator.

- Try signing in again.
3. Run Ubisoft Connect in Compatibility Mode
Compatibility mode changes how Windows applies certain app behaviors. This can bypass conflicts with drivers, overlays, or background software that disrupt the login flow.
- Right-click the Ubisoft Connect shortcut and select Properties.

- Open the Compatibility tab.
- Enable Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows 8.

- Click Apply then OK, relaunch Ubisoft Connect, and test.
4. Delete Ubisoft Connect Cache
If cached session files are corrupted, Ubisoft Connect can fail before it finishes authentication. Deleting cache forces the launcher to rebuild clean sign-in data.
- Close Ubisoft Connect completely (also exit from the system tray).
- Open Task Manager and end any Ubisoft Connect / UbisoftGameLauncher processes.
- Press Windows + R, type
%localappdata%, and press Enter.
- Open Ubisoft Game Launcher.

- Delete the cache folder.

- Restart Ubisoft Connect and sign in again.
5. Remove PC from Trusted Devices
If the trusted-device record is stuck or inconsistent, login can fail even with the correct password. Removing the device from Trusted Devices forces a clean verification flow.
- Go to Ubisoft Account Management and sign in.
- Open Security and under 2-step verification, click Manage next to Trusted Devices.

- Click Untrust for listed devices (or untrust all if available).

- Reopen Ubisoft Connect and sign in again.
6. Reset Network
Use this if the DNS step did not help. Network reset rebuilds adapter settings and clears silent DNS/IP configuration issues that can break authentication.
Important: This can remove saved Wi-Fi networks and VPN adapters. Make sure you know your Wi-Fi password.
- Search Network reset in Windows and open it.

- Click Reset now.

- Restart your PC and test Ubisoft Connect.
