FIX: Steps to Fix BSOD Error “KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR”

Solution 1: Check/replace your IDE /SATA cable

You may be seeing a BSOD with KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR whenever you wake your computer up or boot it up because your computer has a hard time detecting your HDD thanks to a loose or faulty IDE/SATA cable. If that is the case, check on your IDE/SATA cable and make sure that it is fastened securely on both ends. Solution 2: Run the CHKDSK utility

chkdsk C: /F /R

Solution 3: Set paging file management to Automatic

Open Windows Explorer by pressing Windows Logo key + E. In the Windows Explorer window, right-click on Computer or This PC in the left pane. Click on Properties in the contextual menu.

Make sure that the automatically manage paging file size for all drives option is enabled (the box beside it should be checked). If it is disabled, enable it. Click on OK in all the windows and then restart the computer to save the changes.
