PlayStation Plus Premium January 2023 Game Trials Are Impressive
Sony entirely revamped the PlayStation Plus in June 2022 and introduced two new tiers; PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Premium, the highest tier of the PlayStation gaming subscription model, gives users the most benefits.
PlayStation Plus Premium has all the benefits of Essential and Extra, and on top of that, it gives you access to cloud streaming and classic games<span style=”font-weight: 400″> from PlayStation 3, 2, 1, and PSP. The most enticing feature of PlayStation Plus Premium is the limited game trials that give you limited access (ranging from 1-5 hours) to PlayStation games if you are a subscriber.
And the January 2023 lineup of PlayStation Plus Premium game trials looks very promising. As shared by a well-known PlayStation news channel @PlayStationSize, PlayStation Premium Plus, subscribers will have access to A Plague Tale: Requiem, The Last Of Us Part 1, and Gotham Knights for 2, 2, and 1 hours respectively.

About A Plague Tale: Requiem
A Plague Tale: Requiem is an action-adventure survival horror stealth game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment. It is the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence (2019), and follows siblings Amicia and Hugo de Rune who must look for a cure to Hugo’s blood disease in Southern France while fleeing from soldiers of the Inquisition and hordes of rats that are spreading the black plague.
Similar to its predecessor, Requiem is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. In the game, the player assumes control of Amicia and must face both soldiers from the French Inquisition and hordes of rats that are spreading the black plague.
Gameplay is largely similar to the first game, though the combat system is significantly expanded. Amicia is equipped with weapons such as a knife to stab enemies, a sling that can be used to throw rocks, and a crossbow which allows her to easily defeat armored opponents.
Crossbow bolts, throwing pots, and rocks can be combined with alchemical mixtures. In addition to Ignifer and Extinguis, which allows the player to light and extinguish flame respectively, the game introduces tar, which increases the radius of the light source, and can be used to ignite enemies
The game was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X|S on 18 October 2022, with the Nintendo Switch version being a cloud-based title.
About Last Of Us Part 1
The Last of Us Part 1 is a 2022 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. A remake of the 2013 game The Last of Us, it features revised gameplay, including enhanced combat and exploration, and expanded accessibility options.
The single-player story follows Joel, who is tasked with escorting the young Ellie across the post-apocalyptic United States and defending against cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. The game includes the expansion The Last of Us: Left Behind, a single-player campaign following Ellie and her best friend Riley. The original game’s online multiplayer mode is omitted.

Gotham Knights is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by WB Games Montréal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Inspired by the Batman: Gotham Knights comic series based on the DC Comics character Batman and his supporting cast
The game focuses on the characters Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood as they attempt to restore justice to Gotham City during a period of decline in the immediate aftermath of Batman’s death.
While investigating the events that led to their mentor’s demise, the heroes become embroiled in an ancient conflict between two secret organizations fighting for control of Gotham: the Court of Owls and the League of Shadows.
Gameplay is presented from the third-person perspective with a primary focus on using each playable character’s traversal and combat abilities to defeat enemies and explore the environment.
Players can freely move around Gotham City, interacting with characters, undertaking missions, and gaining experience points and other resources to level up their characters and equipment. Outside of the story, players are able to complete side missions to unlock additional content and collectible items.
A cooperative online multiplayer mode is also included, allowing two players to play through the single-player campaign together while progressing in their own game.
