Exclusive: OPPO A17 European Prices, Storage and Color Options Leaked

Last month, OPPO launched the OPPO A17 in Malaysia. Few weeks later, the device was unveiled in India alongside OPPO A77s and OPPO A17K smartphones.

Today we can confirm, from our sources, that OPPO A17 will be soon heading to the European market. We have also managed to get the exact prices and color options of the phone.

In Europe, the OPPO A17 will be available in only one storage option with a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM configuration, and will cost EUR 149. The device will debut in two colorways: Midnight Black and Lake Blue, both of which you can see in the renders above.

OPPO A17 specs:

OPPO A17 is equipped with a 6.56-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch touch sampling rate, 269 PPI, and 89.8% screen-to-body ratio. The panel is protected by an unknown version of Panda Glass and has a V-shaped teardrop notch at the top.

The device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 processor. It is an octa-core CPU built on 12-nanometre process technology. It features LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 ROM. The storage can be further expanded up to 2 TB with an external MicroSD card. On software side, the phone comes baked with ColorOS 12.1.1 based on Android 12.

OPPO A17’s back is made of a unique one-piece faux leather, rather than the usual glass and plastic backs we see on other phones. In terms of optics, the phone has a dual-camera setup with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 as the primary lens, and a secondary 0.3MP Superpix SP0A09 lens. For selfies, the phones makes use of a 5MP Galaxycore GC5035 lens.

The handset is backed by a 5000mAh battery and supports only 10W charging over the Micro-USB port. A side mounted fingerprint scanner is placed on right side of the frame. The phone weighs in at 189 grams and measures in at 164.2 × 75.6 × 8.3mm
