Just now, Intel announced its Raptor Lake Mobile and Budget CPUs at CES 2023. momomo_us shared a link from a French website that has the i9-13900KS listed and ready for purchase. We should probably mention that team blue, as of yet, has stated nothing about the 13900KS, apart from a tease. Although, it seems like a CES 2023 launch could be on the cards since this CPU is already up for sale.
i9-13900KS Up for Purchase
Over at ldlc, we can see that the i9-13900KS has been listed for €949, which is roughly $1150. Intel has not yet officially announced this CPU, but it seems like the launch date is very close.
The retailer has also confirmed the specifications of this CPU and as we expected, it features a 6GHz boost out-of-the-box. The TDP stands at 150W, but it can go as high as 253W. The CPU itself comes with the standard 3-year warranty from Intel.

The listing may just be a placeholder for now as the pricing is too high. Besides, it doesn’t seem like AMD is planning on announcing Ryzen 7000 X3D anytime soon, at least for CES 2023. If there is no real threat, Intel probably does not feel the need for unleashing this beast. But it’s better to be safe than sorry. Do bear in mind, this CPU crushes all of its competitors, especially in single-core performance.
On the contrary, a leaker claimed that the 13900KS will be announced/ will retail by the 12th of January. More on that here. In the data for the marketing slides (merely an assumption), the 13900KS is up to 15% faster than the Ryzen 9 7950X.
