GTA VI Collector’s Edition Could Cost as Much as an Xbox One S

With the launch of GTA VI closing in this year, rumors have sprung up about how much one of the most hyped games of modern times could cost. Well, this time, the claim seems to state that the Collector’s Edition, in particular could cost as much as an Xbox One S.
GTA VI Could Hit More than $1 Billion in Pre-Orders On Day One, A Feat that Took GTA V Three Days to Achieve
At the moment, with the calculated estimates, analysts are claiming close to $1 billion in pre-orders for the game. If the title manages to hit numbers close to these predictions, it’ll be a launch-day record setter for both the consoles (since a PC release if off the books for this year).
Anurag Reddy from Analytics Insight mentions that with the leaks in particular, there is a huge hype on platforms like X and Reddit, with the latter closing in roughly 1.2 million members looking at each and every leak. With the expected base price at $70 to $150 for premium editions, Rockstar would hit the $1 billion mark within its first 10-15 million pre-orders.
For the Collector’s Edition in particular, which comes with in-game perks, and artbooks, the figure could go as high as $250. For reference, GTA V Collector’s Edition was sold for $150.
Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick has also mentioned in recent interview to Bloomberg that GTA VI’s next trailer will not release until the game is near its release, which is expected to be in Fall this year.
