Fortnite Leaker Hints At a New Cosmetic Type Coming to the Game

Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 4: Paradise and the irony is that Fortnite Island was made totally opposite of a Paradise with ‘Chrome’ taking over every substance in existence, making the island more of a hell than a Paradise. Chrome was introduced as a new substance in the game that overpowers your weapons but can also become a disadvantage if used against you. As the description of the Chapter 3 Season 4 suggests:

IN FORTNITE CHAPTER 3 SEASON 4: PARADISE, A MYSTERIOUS SUBSTANCE HAS APPEARED ON THE ISLAND. CHROME WILL CONSUME ALL, CHROME WILL BE ALL. EMBRACE THE CHROME BY TURNING STRUCTURES CHROME, MAKING YOURSELF CHROME, AND PROVING THE POWER OF CHROME WEAPONS.

So it will be better to equip Chrome yourself and dominate your enemies:

Besides the newly introduced Chrome substance and some unique POI locations on the island that were safe from Chrome, nothing out of the box was added to the game in the new season. But it looks like some interesting things are coming for the fans. As a famous Fortnite leaker/insider, HYPEX tweeted about a new type of cosmetic, ‘Apparel,’ coming to Fortnite.

HYPEX is a reliable source for Fornite leaks and news, and he was also able to provide information about Chrome before the official announcement from Epic Games. However, he couldn’t clarify what ‘Apparel’ exactly means regarding the game’s cosmetics. 

We all know that Fornite is famous for its creative collaboration with ongoing trends and big entertainment houses to add an extra exciting element for the fans and keep the experience fresh in the game. If we go by the comments on the tweet by HYPEX. 

Fans are speculating ‘Apparel’ to be an extra layer of customization to existing skins, like changing your character’s clothes or adding a hat or cap of your choice to your personality. It is a little too early to come to a solid conclusion about this, and only time can tell what ‘Apparel’ means for the Fornite fans.
