Assassin’s Creed Codename Red New Key Art Leaks Online
After the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage this month, Ubisoft is currently working on 10 future Assassin’s Creed games, and Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is one of them. Information about Assassin’s Creed Mirage Codename Red is still scarce; however, a new key art showcasing the game’s protagonist has leaked online.
The key art was spotted on the LinkedIn profile of Senior Writer Pierre Boudreau. As of now, it is quite difficult to reach any solid conclusions by just looking at a single (not even a full) image of the character. However, the tone and style of the image do match the setting of the game, Feudal Japan, with a classic Japanese castle in the background painted in ‘Red.’
Codename Red is one of the highly anticipated upcoming Assassin’s Creed games as it will be an open-world experience with both the RPG elements present in recent Assassin’s Creed games before Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the traditional stealth gameplay for which the franchise is known.
Previously leaked information about Assassin’s Creed Red suggests players may have the option to choose between two characters: a samurai and a shinobi. So, this leaked image could be one of those protagonists and most probably the shinobi, judging from the attire of the female character on the key art.
Ubisoft Quebec, which also developed Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, is leading the development of this major flagship game. Jonathan Dumont, who served as the creative director for both of these previous titles, will reprise his role for Assassin’s Creed Codename Red.
The currently rumored release window for Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is 2024. That’s all about the latest update on Codename Red. We will keep you posted upon receiving any further information about the game. Until then, let us know your thoughts about this news in the comments section below.
