Yeston Actually Dunked Its RX 9070 XT in the Ocean for an Ad

The makers of the RTX 4060 “Cute Pet” are back with the Yeston RX 9070 “Sakura Atlantis.” It’s at least a $599 card, that the company has advertised by… dipping into the ocean. Yeston just can’t settle on a normal product reveal.
In their 59-second reveal video for the RX 9070 XT, Yeston has shown a working card being sloshed with seawater, and placed on a sandy beach. From the ad, it wasn’t entirely clear if the company would facilitate an RMA for a card running into a similar issue, but the idea is absurd, to say the least.
Yeston’s marketing has always been over-the-top, and while the “Sakura Edition” is a fan favourite, it isn’t as accessible globally as some of AMD’s other AIB partners. Still, as far as the design of the RX 9070 XT goes, it comes with a clean white PCB, with an anime character on the backplate.
On the front side, you have a triple-fan layout with rounded edges and a subtly minimalist red and blue colour palette. To be sure, there’s no waterproofing, so it’s not a good idea to go dunking your units in water; just stick to using it as a normal GPU.
The pricing and availability for Yeston’s Sakura Atlantis RX 9070 aren’t confirmed yet. The GPU will hit shelves on March 6, but we do know that it’ll be priced well over the $599 MSRP. This is all we know for now, but rest assured that we will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
