What is Strikethrough
Strikethrough is the line that appears on a word or a sentence that you selected. It gives an impression of a ‘strike’ through the word, and that is the reason why it is called ‘strikethrough’. People usually use this formatting tool to show the reader that this word is not included in the article or just not be considered as important for the reader. For instance, when you Google a few keywords, you will notice that under all the results that appear on the screen, there would be words which have been strikethrough-ed. Here, Google is trying to tell its viewers that this certain result does not include this struck word.
