The RTX 4070 Ti Has Already Been Unboxed
We know very well that NVIDIA is planning to launch the RTX 4070 Ti within just a few days. In fact, team green accidentally confirmed the RTX 4070 Ti themselves a few days ago. Either way, the performance metrics are not a huge concern as this GPU is basically a rebranded RTX 4080 12GB. In any case, a Chinese user has already unboxed the RTX 4070 Ti from ASUS, days before launch. It should be noted that this GPU was already up for purchase in various countries.
RTX 4070 Ti Unboxing
Twitter user and hardware leaker MEGAsizeGPU shared a video of someone unboxing the ASUS TUF RTX 4070 Ti GAMING OC. The video appears to be from a Chinese social media app, although we are not certain.

The design of the logo and GPU name is similar to other Ada GPUs. Inside the packaging lies a box having the ‘TUF GAMING’ logo. The GPU appears to be somewhere in the ballpark of 3-4 slots wide. Actually, ASUS kind of officially confirmed this variant, thanks to a prior leak. On their website, a countdown to 5th January 2023 was present indicating the launch date of this specific model.
Sadly, there were not any performance benchmarks. It seems like this video is a marketing move by the unnamed retailer in question.
RTX 4070 Ti
The RTX 4070 Ti will ship with 12GB of G6X memory across a 192-bit memory bus. The 4070 Ti will make use of NVIDIA’s AD104-400-A1 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores. A memory speed of 21Gbps would amount up to 504GB/s of effective bandwidth. One should note that this GPU is considerably slower than the RTX 3090 Ti in raw raster performance. A modest TDP of 285W should not need a PSU change. Pricing-wise, the RTX 4070 Ti may cost consumers upwards of $899. Though, recent leaks claim that the RTX 4070 Ti may have an MSRP of just $799.
This GPU will be showcased by NVIDIA at CES 2023, which is in almost 2 days. Stay tuned at Appuals for more information.
