Exclusive: Redmi Pad SE Renders, Specifications and Price Leaked

Xiaomi unveiled the first tablet under the Redmi brand, known as the Redmi Pad, simultaneously in India and Europe in October 2022. The tablet made its debut with a starting price of INR 12,999 in India and EUR 279 in Europe for the base model.

Xiaomi is expected to launch another tablet, the Redmi Pad SE. Earlier, a few renders and key specifications of this tablet were revealed by Kimovil (via Xiaomiui). Today, we bring you the comprehensive set of renders, showcasing the tablet from all angles, in addition to the complete specifications sheet and pricing details for the European market.

The first slideshow presents the Redmi Pad SE in the gray colorway, the second one shows it in the green color and the last renders are for the purple color.

Redmi Pad SE Specifications

The Redmi Pad SE will offer an 11-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It will feature an 8-bit panel that supports a 90Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, peak brightness of 400 nits, 207 ppi, 16.7 million display colors, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, 70% NTSC coverage, and an 84.4% screen-to-body ratio.

Redmi Pad SE will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It will equipped with quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos. The tablet will sport a single 8MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and a 5MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, the tablet will feature the FocusFrame feature, which automatically tracks subjects and keeps them centred in the frame during video calls.

The tablet is set to feature an 8000mAh battery and will also support 10W charging via its USB-C port. This battery capacity will guarantee up to 21 hours of uninterrupted video playback or 12 hours of continuous gaming. The device will run on MIUI for Pad based on Android 13.

Redmi Pad SE have a metal unibody design and will measure 478g in weight and 255.53 x 167.08 x 7.36 mm in dimensions. Connectivity wise the device will support USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5GHz and Bluetooth 5.0.

However, it will lack calling features and a fingerprint scanner. For security purposes, the tablet will rely on traditional software-based face unlock. Among its other sensors are a Virtual Ambient Light sensor, an Accelerometer, and a Hall sensor. Further, to enhance user experience, it will be compatible with the Redmi Stylus for Pad.

Redmi Pad SE Price:

The Redmi Pad SE is set to launch in Gray, Green, and Purple color variants. The version equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM will be priced at approximately EUR 190. Please note that the price might vary by a few Euros based on local taxes.
