Exclusive: Redmi 12 5G Launching Soon in Europe, Price Leaked

Xiaomi has recently introduced the Redmi 12 Series in India, which comprises the Redmi 12 (4G) and the Redmi 12 5G models. Both of these phones fall under the entry-level category, with the Redmi 12 5G being one of the most affordable 5G phones available in India.
The Redmi 12 (4G) had already been launched in Europe back in June 2023, with a starting price of EUR 199. However, the company is yet to release the 5G variant, the Redmi 12 5G, in the European market. Based on our sources, we can confirm that Xiaomi will soon unveil Redmi 12 5G in Europe. Furthermore, we have managed to obtain the pricing details for the Redmi 12 5G in Europe ahead of its official launch on the continent.
Redmi 12 5G Price and Specifications for Europe:
In Europe, the Redmi 12 5G will start with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM, at a price of EUR 219. This phone will be available in Black, Blue, and Silver color choices. The Redmi 12 5G in Europe will boast identical specifications and design as the Indian version of the Redmi 12 5G, except for the front-facing selfie camera which differs.
The Redmi 12 5G is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, marking its debut outside of China as the first device to use this chipset. This 8-core chipset is fabricated using advanced 4-nanometer process technology. It comprises two Cortex-A78 cores, clocked at 2200 MHz, alongside six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2000 MHz. The device also employs LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 ROM.
At the front, the device uses a 6.79″ LCD panel that features FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling Rate and 550 nits of brightness. The device runs on Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi 12 5G houses a dual-camera arrangement at the back. This setup comprises a 50MP primary lens, partnered with a 2MP depth lens. Notably, while the Indian version of the Redmi 12 5G integrates an 8MP selfie camera, its European counterpart will opt for a more modest 5MP configuration.
Redmi 12 5G utilizes a side mounted fingerprint sensor a side mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W charging over USB-C port. Connectivity features include hybrid card Slot, dual 5G SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio headphone jack and IR Blaster.
