Realme is set to inaugurate its smartphone lineup for 2024 with the introduction of the Realme 12 Pro series in India. The brand has already started teasing about the Periscope lens feature of the Realme 12 Pro series on its social media handles and website.

Launch Date of Realme 12 Pro Series in India:
According to our sources, Realme will launch both the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G on the same stage in India on the 31st of January at 12:00 PM.
Realme 12 Pro Series Storage and Color options for India:
The Realme 12 Pro 5G will debut in three storage configurations: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB, with color options including Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue.
On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro+ will be introduced in two storage options: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, offering a broader spectrum of colors with Explorer Red, Navigator Beige, and Submarine Blue.

Both devices have recently surfaced on China’s TENAA certification, unveiling images and key specifications for both phones.
The phones will utilize a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, offering 10-bit colors and an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security. Both phones will be equipped with a minimum 4880mAh battery, with a typical capacity of around 5000mAh.
Powering the Realme 12 Pro is a 2.2GHz octa-core chip, likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, while the Realme 12 Pro+ is driven by a 2.2GHz octa-core chip, possibly identified as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 according to a recent report.
At the rear, both devices will feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The Realme 12 Pro incorporates a 32MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, whereas the Realme 12 Pro+ is equipped with a 64MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ are equipped with 16MP and 32MP lenses, respectively.
