MIUI 14 List of Supported Devices Leaked, Several Models Included

In the upcoming weeks, MIUI 14, the newest version of Xiaomi’s bespoke Android interface, is anticipated to be unveiled. The MIUI 14 will be based on Android 13 and is anticipated to include some of the cosmetic and internal modifications from Google’s most recent release. A recent leak shows list of Xiaomi devices that will recieve MIUI 14.

The supported devices for the MIUI 14 has been expanded with the addition of Xiaomi 12T / 12T Pro, Xiaomi CIVI 2, POCO M5 and M5s, Redmi Note 11R 5G. MIUI 14 is set to include plenty of features. Xiaomi is anticipated to significantly update the design and user interface (UI) features of its Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones with MIUI 14. According to a source, the App Vault and MIUI Clock apps now feature revised user interfaces and designs. 

Similar to OneUI 5.0, which is present in iOS 15, the upcoming MIUI upgrade will also be able to recognise text in photographs within the Gallery app. In addition, MIUI will get a new memories feature for the Gallery app that will make it possible to use Google Photos“On this day” function. A new Android 13 media player is also included in the MIUI 14, which is a wonderful feature. Users will be able to easily control the music with this right from the widget.

According to the sources, the future operating system will include certain privacy-related features. The new Anti-fraud protection in MIUI 14 will first automatically scan incoming calls and messages for security hazards. Additionally, it would warn users of shaky applications. In addition, the new user interface will alert users to the forwarded verification code (OTP).

Later this year, Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones will start receiving the MIUI 14 globally. The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will officially ship with MIUI 14, according to rumours. The update will therefore be announced in November. By December or January 2023, it’s likely that updates will begin to roll out to other devices. This journey will be lengthy given the length of the list. Most smartphones may get the MIUI 14 update in the form of Android 13.
