How to Find your American Airlines (AA) Record Locator

A Record Locator is defined as a reference number or a booking confirmation number that is assigned to a passenger whenever he reserves a flight. This is usually an alphanumeric code and is in fact, a pointer to a unique record. A record locator is able to give you all the information regarding your flight reservation such as flight date, timings, seat number, etc. Therefore, if you know the record locator of your reservation, then you can get every tiny detail regarding your air travel. The record locators are highly useful when someone else does the flight reservation on your behalf. After booking the flight, that person can simply convey you the record locator of your reservation and then you can look for all the information you want. Moreover, you can also cancel or change your reservation with the help of your record locator.
