Exclusive: HONOR X6a Renders and Price Leaked

HONOR announced a couple of “X” series devices this year. The HONOR X7a and HONOR X9a were launched at the beginning of the year. The HONOR X7a is a 4G device, while the HONOR X9a is a 5G phone, and both were released in January 2023. The HONOR X8a was launched in February and May, in 4G and 5G models respectively.
The HONOR X6a smartphone is the next addition to HONOR’s smartphone line-up. Recently, it surfaced on the TDRA certification platform in the UAE with the model number WDY-LX2. Although the certification platform did not reveal any specific details, today at Appuals, we have obtained the renders of the upcoming HONOR X6a smartphone, as well as its price for Europe.

HONOR is set to launch the HONOR X6a in Europe very soon. The device will be available in Green and Black color options. On the front, the phone will feature an LCD display with a v-shaped waterdrop notch for the selfie cameras. On the back, there will be a dual camera setup consisting of a main camera and a macro or depth camera, accompanied by a flash.
The phone boasts a flat frame design, with volume buttons and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner positioned on the right side. The HONOR X6a will be launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, priced at EUR 169 in Europe. Apart from this information, we currently do not have precise specifications about the phone.
Upon further discovery, we found that the design of the HONOR X6a bears a striking resemblance to that of the recently launched HONOR Play 40 5G in China. However, the camera housing design differs significantly between the two phones. The HONOR X6a features a square-shaped design around the camera, whereas the HONOR Play 40 5G adopts a rectangular design. Consequently, we are uncertain whether both devices will share similar specifications or not.
The HONOR Play 40 5G features a 6.56-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1612 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G processor. The phone is equipped with a 13MP Main camera, a 2MP Depth-of-Field camera, and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The device is supported by a 5200mAh battery and offers 10W charging.
