Galaxy S25 Edge Will Not Feature Curved Edges
Should've Been Called the S25 'Slim :/

Samsung is gearing up to release another addition to its 2025 lineup with the Galaxy S25 Edge in April. This device was teased at the Unpacked event last month and is known for its slimmer form factor.
Recently, the first leaked images have surfaced online, and they seem to be quite accurate. In a first-look video uploaded to YouTube by Alexis Garza, the phone is compared in thickness alongside the Z Fold 6, and it’s noticeably slimmer. You can check the video here:

Some hardware specifications were shared as well, revealing that the phone comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Regarding its physical dimensions, previous rumors suggested that Samsung was working on two different prototypes:
- one measuring 6.4mm and
- the other 5.84mm
If the latter turns out to be true, the phone could closely resemble the Z Fold 6, which measures 5.6mm.
The backside of the phone, however, is the most interesting, with the vertical camera layout looking surprisingly similar to the iPhone 16.

In fact, attached below is a side-by-side comparison of the two devices. The exact camera specifications are under wraps, at least for now.
Addressing the obvious question: the Galaxy S25 Edge will not feature curved edges or side screens like its predecessors.
(Yeah, I know, what a bummer! Many of us were hoping to see that iconic design make a comeback.) It has been nine years since we last saw a true “Samsung Edge” device—the Galaxy S7 Edge.
Keep an eye out for more updates as the release date approaches!
