AMD’s Upcoming Ryzen 5 5600X3D Might be The Next Gaming King, Details Leaked
AMD’s rumored Ryzen 5 5600X3D 3D V-Cache CPU will launch on the AM4 platform with the intention of becoming the greatest gaming processor available.
Possible technical details for a brand new AM4 CPU, the Ryzen 5 5600X3D, have been leaked online by leaker chi11eddog. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D will be a new CPU in the Zen 3 family, and it will use the AM4 socket. The 5600X3D will be AMD’s second 3D V-Cache processor for the AM4 socket.
Architecture
The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D will have the OPN “100-000001176” and will use the 7nm Zen 3 core architecture, to begin with, among its other features. There will be 6 cores and 12 threads in the processor. The device will include an L2 cache of 3 MB and an L3 cache of 96 MB. The single CCD will have 32 MB of L3 memory and 64 MB of system memory, both of which will be tuned specifically for gaming.
When it comes, the 5600X3D will also be the first 6-core 3D V-Cache CPU, paving the way for a potential Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU for the AM5 platform. Even very little is known about them at the moment, the red team also plans to release new Ryzen APUs to cover the cheap and mainstream segment on the AM5 front.
Clock Speeds
The chip’s official clock speeds are 3.3 GHz at base and 4.4 GHz at turbo. They’re not quite as fast as the regular Ryzen 5 5600X, which runs at a 3.7 GHz base and 4.6 GHz boost. The Ryzen 5 5600X3D will share the same 105W TDP as the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and lack overclocking capability due to its weak cache, which isn’t very fond of higher voltages.
However, the leaker claims that the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D is arriving “real soon,” so we may learn more about its pricing and availability in the coming weeks. Since the Ryzen 7 5800X3D has already dropped below $300 US, a Ryzen 5 5600X3D price in the $200 US region would make it one of the best-sellers and significantly extend the life of AM4 motherboards.
