AMD Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700 & Ryzen 5 7600 Arriving In Q1 2023, Priced At $429, $329 And $229 Respectively
Today, we have some more information regarding the non-X Ryzen 7000 CPUs from AMD. Up until now, we only saw a few benchmarks of these CPUs with no mention of pricing and availability. Today, leaker ‘chi11eddog‘ has confirmed these CPUs along with a price tag and launch date.
Zen4 Non-X Counterparts
In Q1 2023, we will see AMD launch the Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700, and the Ryzen 5 7600. All CPUs will feature a 65W base TDP in line with the previous generation. The core counts will remain the same. So far, only these CPUs have been mentioned so the final lineup may only comprise of these SKUs.

- Ryzen 9 7900 | 12 Cores / 24 Threads | 65W | 5.4GHz Max Boost | $429
- Ryzen 9 7700 | 8 Cores / 16 Threads | 65W | 5.3GHz Max Boost | $329
- Ryzen 5 7600 | 6 Cores / 12 Threads | 65W | 5.1GHz Max Boost | $229
Conclusion
Currently, we do not have any information regarding the base clocks and the amount of cache. Although, based on the pricing itself, AMD wants to push AM5 to more consumers. The Ryzen 7000 CPUs are not in the best state as the price of the entire platform skyrockets once you factor in DDR5 memory and an AM5 motherboard.
The Ryzen 9 7900 is priced at $429, or $120 cheaper than the 7900X. Similarly, the Ryzen 7 7700 comes in at around $329 which is $80 less than the 7700X. Lastly, the first sub $300 Zen4 CPU, the Ryzen 5 7600 is $80 cheaper than the 7600X. Only time will tell if these prices can drive more attention towards AM5. One should note that the A620 chipset boards are also expected to arrive sometime in Q2 2023. More on that here.
