Xiaomi Teases A Camera Centric Smartphone, Comes With A 48MP Sensor

It is expected that Xiaomi will launch the phone in January 2019

The camera is considered to be one of the most important features of any smartphone. Companies are now improving their smartphone cameras to woo in their customers. Xiaomi has come up with a 48mp camera. Xiaomi’s President Bin Lin teased the company’s new smartphone in a Weibo post featuring the new phone.

Mr.Lin Bin has a habit of sharing images of smartphones before they are launched. He shared a full-frontal image of the Xiaomi MI Max 3 before its launch. The back panel of the image released by Bin Lin shows a 48MP camera along with dual-tone flash and dual-tone LED. According to the leaked image, the camera is raised a little up from the body of the phone.

Apart from this, there have been no details shared by the President or any representative of the company. It is still not clear how many lenses will be there in the camera but the camera will be on the top left corner of the phone. The new smartphone from Xiaomi is expected to be released in January 2019. This will be the first smartphone from Xiaomi that will have a 48MP camera.

Lin said that he has used the phone for a few weeks and it isn’t bad at all. Once the phone is released, Xiaomi will become the first company to launch a smartphone with a 48MP camera. Till now Nokia is leading the race with a 41MP camera. Samsung and Sony have already unveiled their 48MP smartphone camera sensors and the Chinese company may just be using these sensors in its upcoming smartphone.
