Xiaomi Mi TV 4X and Mi TV 4A Pro Launching in India Tomorrow, 55-inch 4K Screen Priced Under 600$

Xiaomi has been teasing a new Mi TV launch in India on Flipkart. The new Mi TV is set to launch on Thursday, 10th January at 11am. The teaser includes information such as #BigTVRevolution and “Something Big is on its Way” hinting towards a large screen Mi TV which makes us think of the Mi TV 4 65-inch which was launched a while ago in China. But if leaks from a tweet by Ishan Agarwal (who leaked trustworthy information about the Pixel 3) are to be believed, instead of the 65-inch Mi TV 4, the Chinese tech giant will be launching 3 new products including 2 Mi TVs, the 55-inch Mi TV 4X Pro, the 43-inch Mi TV 4A Pro and the Mi Soundbar.

Specifications

The new TVs are expected to be minor upgrades to the already existing models selling in China and India. The Mi TV 4X 55-inch is a Smart LED TV featuring a 4K HDR panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The bezels are thinned down to make the experience more immersive for viewers. For the processing side of things, the SoC included has 4x ARM Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.5 GHz coupled with 2GB Ram and 8GB Storage.

The 43-inch Mi TV 4A Pro is expected to be a successor to the Mi TV 4A already available in India. The Mi TV 4A comes with a Full HD LED panel with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 2 10W speakers. It runs on Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface supported by the 64-bit quad-core chipset with 1GB Ram and 8GB onboard storage. According to the leaks, a Mi Soundbar will also be launched alongside the TVs. The Mi Soundbar boasts of total eight drivers – 2x 20mm dome speakers, 2x 2.5” woofers and 4x passive radiators for enhanced bass.

The price tags on the new Mi TVs are expected to be somewhere around ₹24999 ($355 approx.) for the Mi TV 4A Pro 43” and ₹39999 ($560 approx.) for the Mi TV 4X Pro 55”. Take these prices with a pinch of salt, however, as there is no official confirmation yet.
