Xiaomi Mi 9 Coming Worldwide According To Reports, Company Opening Up Flagships To More Markets

Xiaomi is known for making one of the most value for money phones in the market. Be it their budget offerings, or their flagships, their phones hardly disappoint. The Xiaomi Mi 8, which was the company’s flagship, came out last year. It was undoubtedly one of the most affordable and VFM flagships of last year. Although it was not available outside China, it was available in only a few countries. Fans all around the world were eagerly waiting for the flagship to be available worldwide. It seems like their wishes are finally going to come true. At least according to rumors.

Mi 9 Global Launch?

The Xiaomi Mi 9 is all set to be available worldwide, even before the device’s announcement. As IXBT reports, “The -Singapore Media Information Development Authority (Info-communications Development Authority) has issued the Xiaomi Mi 9 with model number M1901F1G the necessary certificate for its sale.”Earlier, the smartphone was certified by the Chinese regulator 3C under model number M1902F1A / T.  This change clearly implies that the smartphone is heading towards a worldwide release.

The Mi 9 might be the next big thing in Xiaomi’s lineup of devices. Given that Xiaomi is already gearing up for a worldwide release, it hints towards the fact that Xiaomi wants the device to be available at as many countries as possible at the launch itself.

Xiaomi has hinted that the Mi 9 will be replacing the Mix 2 as Xiaomi’s best camera phone. This is pretty good news for fans outside China, as they were waiting for Xiaomi’s flagship to be available in their respective countries. Which countries will get the device, is still something we are unsure about. However, expect it to launch in a number of countries.
