Xiaomi Launches New Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) in India: Top End Model Runs i5, 8GB RAM & Nvidia MX250

When we covered Ishan Agarwal’s tweet yesterday, no one was sure how on point it would be. Yesterday, the tipster commented on how Xiaomi is planning on announcing a new Mi NoteBook 14 and today, that has just happened. For context, you may read our piece on the topic here. Now, on his account once again, he posts about the newly launched machine from the company.

According to the tweet, Xiaomi just announced/launched the new Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) in India. The company has been at it with the Indian market for quite some time now. Their budget-oriented model fits quite well with the Indian market, that’s for sure. As for how they have marketed it: The Mi NoteBook is set to attract most customers.

It is still pretty grim how the pandemic has us in its hold. Many institutions continue to function online and that requires a laptop or a smartphone. This laptop is aimed just for that while not breaking the bank. The company has launched three new variants to the lineup. All of these would be powered by the last generation 10th Generation Intel Core i5 chipset. This is the i5-10210U processor, focused more on energy-conserving than performance. Additionally, the main selling feature is the integrated 720p webcam which is perfect for those Zoom sessions.

The three variants start off with an 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Then we have one with 512GB of storage and finally, the highest-end model has that and an NVIDIA MX250 graphics card. The former two go for INR 43,999 and INR 46,999 respectively. The top tier model would go for INR 49,999. The latter seems like the best possible option since a lot of Indians are into PubG mobile gaming and the laptop would run the official emulator quite well.
