Xiaomi Launches Mi Curved Gaming Monitor, A 34-inch 144Hz WQHD Display at an Insane Price

A few weeks ago, Xiaomi released its second gaming monitor though the monitor was meant for the low-end market; it had great value per dollar. Now the company has announced another gaming monitor, but this time around, it is intended for the upper mid-range or high-end markets.

The Mi Curved Gaming monitor boasts a 34 inch curved (as the name suggests) display with cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio and WQHD 3440x1440p resolution. The curvature of the monitor is 1500R that follows the natural curve of the eyes so that the whole screen remains in your FOV. If we look at the gaming aspect of the monitor, it boasts a 144 Hz refresh rate coupled with AMD Freesync premium, so that screen tearing is kept to the minimum.

Mi Curved Gaming Monitor product comparison

The high-end display covers 121% of the sRGB spectrum and keeps the color output close to natural. Other than these, it also supports split-screen, which helps if you are into streaming. During the Xiaomi Ecosystem Product launch, they compared the Mi Curved Gaming monitor with some of the other high-end curved gaming monitors from LG and ASUS. As can be seen in the picture above, the Mi gaming monitor is claimed to be better than both in some aspects and costs way less. It is only priced at 399 Euros, while the other gaming monitors cost more than 500 euros.

The monitor does not affect the eyes as much since it is TUV certified, which means the color output has low blue light. Lastly, the availability of the monitor has not been announced. However, it is expected to be released shortly. On paper the monitor looks great with a very competitive pricing, but Xiaomi is a new entrant to the gaming peripheral space and we would suggest you wait for more comprehensive reviews.
