Xbox Official Speaks on the Halo Infinite Delay: Explains Why Delaying The Game Was a Tough Yet Necessary Decision

As Playstation and Xbox go head to head, we should know that the Xbox takes it on paper. Well, that’s just what it has been doing since the Xbox One. The console from Microsoft always becomes huge. It has the power to offer but still manages to lag behind Playstation’s brainchild. Why is that? Well, maybe it is because Microsoft often pushes its games to the PC as well and people would prefer the higher power PCs over a console. Playstation, on the other hand, takes it away with its exclusives. Xbox has very little exclusives to offer and Halo is one of the flagships. There is no doubt, Halo is indeed a good game.

Speaking of Halo, we know that Microsoft hyped up the launch of the upcoming Halo Infinite a lot. This was to be the big title coming out with the Xbox Series X. People had assumed that we’d see a special, limited edition console from the company as well. But last week, sadly though, the company had to delay the game till the next year. Xbox Head, Phile Spencer laid more light on it as we can see on an article from Windows Central.

According to the article, Phil commented that this delay was a bummer but a decision that was necessary. They had planned to launch the game in bits and pieces with future expansion packs but ultimately went against it to protect the essence of the game. He believes that it is a great game and should not be tainted due to time constraints. Now, the company has planned the game to come out later in 2021 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and the PCs. Perhaps, this is a good thing too as we would see a much better end product.
