Windows 10 Light Theme Revealed By Microsoft, Releasing April 2019

The upcoming major Windows 10 update will include an all-new Light theme as announced by Microsoft recently. This light theme is a new overhaul for the already existing light theme in the Operating System, including the default wallpaper tweak to match up with the colours of this light theme.

Windows 10 Light Theme Announced.

In the recent blog post, the software giant unveiled the new Light theme for Windows 10 in a test build. The preview shows off a completely new taskbar and start menu. Unlike the previous Dark and light themes that were limited to apps only, this new theme will bring a system-wide change affecting the whole UI including the windows explorer, taskbar, notifications area and start menu. For this major update, Microsoft has also brought some lighting tweaks for its default windows 10 wallpaper to the likings of the theme. If you want the new wallpaper it has been already provided by Microsoft to be downloaded in various resolutions. Head over to Wallpaperhub, choose your desired resolution and download the new updated Windows 10 Light theme wallpaper.

The light theme is included in the Windows 10 19H1 update which is to be rolled out in April 2019. This new light theme is just another step taken by Microsoft to bring the users a better experience.

Apart from the new Light theme, this upcoming Windows 10 update will bring other updates like an improved narrator, adaptive brightness on laptops, bringing enhanced windows snipping experience with the addition of a delayed snip option. The Windows 10 build 1828 is already available for Windows Insiders allowing them to try out the new Windows 10 Light-Theme.
