We Happy Few Season Pass Adds Sandbox Mode and Three New Stories

We Happy Few is an upcoming survival adventure game developed by Compulsion Games. The game features an interesting storyline which follows a drug-fuelled society filled with melancholy and depression. Prior to its launch next week, developer Compulsion Games announced the post-launch content for We Happy Few.

Sandbox Mode

The sandbox mode will be added to We Happy Few some time after launch. It is a free content update that will add an infinite mode where the player can customize almost every aspect of the world. Similar to the sandbox mode that was shown in the early days, sandbox mode allows players to change everything from world size, how dangerous it is, and more. Players even have the option to play as a Wellie in the Wellie Mode.

Season Pass

Alongside the Digital Edition of We Happy Few, the post-launch content includes a Season Pass. The Season Pass includes three new different stories set in Wellington Wells:

Roger & James in: They Came From Below!

Precocious Roger and Impetuous James set off in search of adventure and love, only to uncover bizarre technology and a terrifying new threat. All is not as it seems. Or is it exactly as it seems?

Lightbearer

Heartthrob, artist, and personal trainwreck, Nick Lightbearer is Wellington Wells’ most celebrated rock star—but what truly makes him tick? Tune in to Uncle Jack’s late show to find out.

We All Fall Down

Much like any well-worn happy mask, all societies develop cracks in their veneer. But that doesn’t mean you should go digging up dirt from the past. Right? *pops a Joy pill* Right!

Currently, the Season Pass is only obtainable by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of We Happy Few. The Season Pass will be sold separately after launch, but if you want to dive right in, the pre-order discount on Steam and GOG has been extended to August 12th. We Happy Few launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam next week on August 10th for $59.99 USD.
