First Hands-On Video for the Vivo X Flip Surfaces Online Ahead of Launch
After rumors surfaced earlier this week for the Vivo X Flip, people started speculating on how the phone would look like. Earlier this week, we saw some leaked photos which gave us our first look at the phone.
However, today the first hands-on video for the phone has surfaced online showcasing how the outer cover screen would function. Take a look at the video embedded down below.
The cover screen looks to be spread across the entirety of the phone’s width, housing a (what looks to be) a 60Hz panel giving quick access to all the basic functionality in the form of various tiles. In addition, we can see some very interesting clock widgets on the front.
Above the screen, we can clearly see the beautifully designed camera module alongside the flash on an interesting piece of finish (leather texture probably).
From the leaks, we know that the phone will feature a round rear camera hump with Zeiss branding, which means the device will boast the T* optical lens, a feature found in high-end cameras, and a built-in Vivo/Zeiss professional imaging system.
It is important to note that Vivo hasn’t revealed anything about the release date or the internal specifications. We expect the company to announce the launch date soon, followed by a series of teasers that will reveal more about the phone’s features.
The phone is rumored to sport a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, coupled with a 4,400mAh battery and 44W charging. Its camera setup is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX866 main sensor. The device is expected to come in three color variants: Diamond Black, Silk Gold, and Diamond Purple
With the launch date fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether the Vivo X Flip can live up to the hype and deliver on its promises. Till then, we will make sure to keep you updated on all new developments as new information becomes available.
