Vivo Announces Standard Z3i Smartphone, Comes With A FHD+ Display and a 24MP Front Cam

The new Z3i version has an LCD panel as compared to an AMOLED screen

The smartphone industry is getting competitive day by day. New smartphones are being released by different companies every not and then and today was no different. Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has introduced its new smartphone called Z3i standard edition in China. The new phone launched by the company is a follow-up product of the Z3i model that was launched last year in October.

Specifications and Features

The difference between the previous Z3i model and this current model is on the screen. The previous model sported an AMOLED panel while the current model has an LCD panel. Due to the cheaper LCD in Z3i, the price is also on the lower side as compared to the previous model. The Z3i by Vivo is priced at only $296 (1,998 Yuan). The previous Z3i model was available for $355.

The new smartphone by Vivo has a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset powered by a 6 GB RAM. The phone has an in-built memory of 128 GB which can be further extended with the help of an SD Card.  The phone has a 6.3 inch LCD display with full HD resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone measures about 156 x 76 x 8 mm with a total weight of 163.7 grams.

The camera of the phone is also similar to the one that the company used in its previous Z3i standard edition. The phone is equipped with a 24 mp front camera and 16 mp of back camera. The phone comes with pre-installed Android 8.1 Oreo OS.  The smartphone has a battery of 3,315 mAh.

There are new security features that Vivo has introduced in the Z3i. these new features are Face Unlock and rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The Z3i is available in 3 different colors that include Aurora Blue, Dream Pink, and Starry Black Night. The previous Z3i phone was available in only two colors i.e. Aurora Blue and Millennium pink.
