Video Leak allegedly reveals new iPhone X Plus and iPhone 9 6.1 inch designs

A leaked video that has surfaced on the internet allegedly reveals dummy models of Apple’s 6.1 in ‘iPhone 9’ and 6.5 in ‘iPhone X Plus’. The video was supposedly sent to 9to5Mac by tipster known as @shamizrachi who has previously shared pretty accurate dummies for iPhones. This video displays both duo of possible new iPhone designs beside the current models of iPhone, including flagship iPhone X. Cases from Sketch are also shown which suggests that the case making companies are already in process of creating their own cases for these new expected designs after Apple’s announcement in September.

According to the shown cases, it seems that a smaller model iPhone similar to iPhone 8 which will have a single camera and may have 6.1 inch LCD is in the pipeline. In addition to this, an iPhone X Plus with a bigger 6.5 inch display but body size similar to iPhone 7 Plus and with a dual camera setup is also expected. Previous rumors also point to the same aspects with the news that Apple might be opting against OLED so that cost of the handset could be reduced.

The video can be accessed at the following link:

Although, the video does not reveal the expected 5.8 inches OLED model but Mizrachi teases about ‘another surprise’ in the making. There is no reliable verification of whether the designs shown in the video are true or not, but it does match with other rumors and leaks. The new iPhone launch is anticipated to be launched somewhere in September 2018.
