Official OnePlus 6T Images Reveal Waterdrop-Notch, On-screen Fingerprint Scanner And More

The Flagship Killer Returns

The OnePlus 6T is a highly anticipated device as OnePlus is known to introduce flagship killer phones and the same seems to be the case for the OnePlus 6T. According to most recent reports from, the upcoming OnePlus 6T is going to feature a waterdrop-notch, so you will have more screen to use.

Other than that the earpiece is hidden over the front-facing camera so it does not take up precious screen space either. Another interesting thing about the smartphone is that the fingerprint scanner has been moved into the display, so that should make accessing the phone easier.

The body is made of Aluminum so it is sturdy and light at the same time. OnePlus has done a great job of trimming down the bezels to almost none at all and you get a Galaxy S9 vibe from the phone which is not bad at all.

The smartphone is going to be a 6.41-inch device and the resolution of the screen is going to be 2340×1080 pixels. OnePlus is going to use an optic AMOLED panel, so you are going to get deep Blacks and vibrant colors overall. Not having a headphone might be an inconvenience, but you do get a 3700mAh battery which should last you all day, depending on your use.

It was rumored that the OnePlus 6T would have a triple camera setup at the back but that is not the case. You do have two, which should be plenty with decent software processing. You will notice the lack of a fingerprint scanner on the back but that is a major design improvement as the back is much cleaner now.

Out of the box the device will come with Android 9.0 and powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. The chip can boost up to 2.8 GHz. Other than that you can choose between the 64 GB or 128 GB storage versions. As for the release of the phone, it is expected to be released on October 17, 2018.
