Tweet Reveals S20 Series Retail Packaging: No 3.5mm Headphone slot in the Devices

With just hours away from the Samsung Unpacked event, we have almost all of the leaks and news regarding the upcoming devices. Yes, there will be three new devices. Yes, they will be named S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra. Yes, they will have 5G support and one of those will have that massive 108-megapixel sensor to mount on the back.

This phone, in quite a long while, has been one of the most leaked and talked about devices. That is saying something in the year 2020. It was only a couple of hours ago that we covered the in-depth description of the camera system in the device. It included its features and whatnot. Now though, there is some other development inbound. According to a tweet by Roland Quandt, this will be his last tweet about the device which would showcase the leaks. In the tweet, he posts render of the three devices and photos of the retail packaging along with it.

Inside the Box

As the tweet showcases, we can see the three devices. The general sizes are quite huge on average. The largest one, the S20 Ultra would be a 6.9-inch screen device. Though, it should be noted that the screen to body ratio is quite commendable due to the punch hole camera design.

As for the retail packaging, there is nothing very special in it. All three devices have the same specs in the box. All of them come with the same accessories. Perhaps the charger wattage may differ with the size of the device. Other than that, each device comes with a charging brick, a USB-C to USB-C cable, a sim ejector tool, a pair of earbuds and different sized tips. For the earbuds though, this is the exciting news. Samsung, for quite a long time, stuck to the 3.5mm option while others didn’t. As the photos suggest though now, that is gone. The device features a USB-C pair of earbuds.

Since these are still not official photos though, we would know for sure in the coming hours at Samsung Unpacked.
