Try Out Upcoming Google Features Through Google App’s Labs

Almost a month ago, 9to5google reported about a new upcoming feature by Google which will be present within the Google App in an APK insight.  The feature is called “Labs.” The feature will let you test out new features that Google is actively working on. Of course, Google will keep it’s other beta testing channels, which allow users to test out updates for applications prior to their release.  “Labs” will reportedly allow users to try even more features ahead of their release.

Google App Labs

XDA Developers managed to activate and use the new Labs feature using the latest beta version 9.36 of the Google App. At the current moment, there are only two new features available to test. The first feature aids you in discovering content related to your collections.  This means that Google will closely monitor your collections and will then recommend you things according to them like similar images, locations, or web pages to add to that specific collection. The other feature available on ‘Labs’  enables you to pinch to zoom in on search result pages.

‘Labs’ might not seem like a huge deal right now, however, Labs could be very crucial to Google. Labs could assist Google in resolving all bugs and issues before public releases. ‘Labs’ is not available for users right now,  but hopefully, Google rolls out a public release for it soon. Until then, we will keep you informed if we get any additional information regarding the feature.
