The Witcher 3’s Next-Gen Version Finally Gets a Release Date
Now Slated For Q4 2022

While CD Projekt Red has recently confirmed the existence of a new Witcher game, it’s still in early development, and won’t be on the release block anytime soon. Fortunately, fans might not have to that long for a new Witcher experience, as CD Projekt has announced the release date for the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, now slated for Q4 2022.

The title was originally slated to release sometime in late 2021, however it was later delayed until Q2 2022. The game was delayed again recently, after CD Projekt Red announced last month that they are shifting the rest of the development work to their in-house studio.
Regarding the contents of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen version, it comes with both expansion packs (Hearts of Stone + Blood and Wine), all of the previously released DLCs and patches + new DLC inspired by The Witcher Netflix series.

The next gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and the PlayStation 5. The next-gen version will also include all additional content, including all the story expansions and DLCs. Fans can also expect new DLC content this time around, inspired from the Netflix Witcher adaptation.
