Overkill’s “The Walking Dead” finally gets a third trailer in which we have been introduced to a third playable character. After Aidan and our former nurse Maya, we now have an old fella with a sniper rifle in his hand, Grant. He seems to be one heck of a badass, sitting fearlessly side by side a jawless zombie. Although the zombie is stuck with the seatbelt, but come on guys, we’re talking about a zombie here!
He seems to be strolling on the highways on foot, which is possibly headed to Washington D.C. The character is shown to be in search of his grand-daughter who seems to be missing after the apocalypse.
Three of the four characters have been revealed, but by taking a look at the cover of The Walking Dead, we still have a red-headed girl left to be introduced. Not much has been revealed about the previous characters themselves either.
The game will be a co-op first-person survival shooter in which all of the players will have to co-operate to deal with the post-apocalypse situation. The visuals from the cinematic scenes look gorgeous, but we do hope the developers will let us have a look at the gameplay as well. The third trailer also didn’t showcase any gameplay for the game which was a little disappointing, to be honest. There is still a lot to be revealed about the game, let’s hope we don’t have to wait much longer for it.
The game is expected to be released somewhere between the fall for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, but no date has been announced yet. We will probably see The Walking Dead at E3 the next month and hope to get a few more leaks and sneak peek into the game. Here is a link to the third official trailer:
