Did you ever look at your Steam Library and realized that some of these games you bought on Sale are collecting dust? Just like most others, sometimes we also feel that we need to check back these forgotten games and enjoy them while we can. In the same spirit Steam has launched its first ever Spring Cleaning Event. What’s more awesome is that you also get to play new games for free.
This event spans from May 24th to May 28th, 2018. Following games can be played for free throughout the weekend:
What makes it more exciting is the way it has been incentivized and bundled with reward system. It has been divided into Tasks & Projects.
The event starts with “Daily Tasks” which provides players with a set of of time-bound tasks. Take a look at our today’s Daily Tasks:
Speed Clean gives us two games to try for FREE during this weekend. Today, we have received Dead By Daylight & Cities Skylines. I’ve picked up Cities Skylines to relax during the weekend and try it for FREE.
Spin Cycle is a fun way to replay a game from your library. Steam has presented me with some of the games I already have in my library. I feel like playing Civ V during the weekend. We will update you guys on it. 😉
Clear The Backlog is a task for those games we own but haven’t even played yet. Among all these titles, somehow I do remember falling in love but not actually playing Robocraft. Well here we come, again.
Other than these above-mentioned daily tasks, Steam’s Cleaning Event also presents me with Projects.
These projects are to make players play those titles which they haven’t touched in a long time. Specific criteria dictates the game which you can play to complete that project. For example in the project Trusted Friend, I needed to play a game which is recommended by a friend. Apparently another project Trusted Advisor wanted me to play a game recommended by a curator. I shot two birds with one stone by playing our favourite Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
So what are you waiting for? Log in to your Steam and do some Spring Cleaning. 😉
